Join as a Global Data Analyst in the Coffee division.

As global data analyst for the Coffee division, you will have close interaction with our teams of agronomists and sustainability experts across our business. This implies working with a multicultural team in 18 origins (countries). Besides a proven expertise and passion for numbers (and coffee) we are looking for a proactive person willing to take on a big challenge in a dynamic company with plenty of growth opportunities.

Academic background: Bachelor in engineering, agroforestry, business/economics Work experience: Proven experience in data management and analysis

Functions:

  • To analyze data related to agricultural practices and sustainability in coffee supply chains in ofi – coffee operations
  • To coordinate with ofi digital on system upgrades or developments of our data collection platform OFIS
  • To assist and guide origins teams on the correct use of the OFIS data collection platform
  • To provide guidance to origins for data collection (design surveys, training material, outlier identification, sample methodologies and monitoring)
  • To improve data management systems, focusing on data quality
  • To support data integration between different platforms
  • To provide periodic analysis reports to the origin teams, focusing on data intelligence and data performance (quality)
  • To communicate the value of data through dashboards (for central and origin decision making and reporting, and for external stakeholders)
  • To work on what if scenarios or simulations to forecast outcomes and impacts from sustainability interventions.
  • To assess GHG emission reduction from the implementation of different practices.
  • To highlight insights, trends and other findings that help central decision-making processes
  • To cover Sustainability Programs data requirements (baselines, impact measurement, using external and internal tools)
  • To continuously update and communicate global metrics

Technical knowledge:

  • Advanced English and Spanish (min. B2)
  • Statistical and analytical tools (R, Python, or Stata)
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • MS Office tools, advanced Excel
  • Basic econometrics understanding
  • Knowledge of agriculture and/or sustainability
  • Knowledge in GIS is a plus
