What you can move

• Conceptualize and implement scalable data architectures and data models for complex use cases
• Build, further develop, and operate data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop suitable solutions for data storage, data integration, as well as batch and streaming processing
• Build semantic data models and develop and use ontologies and knowledge graphs
• Apply AI and machine learning methods to analyze data and develop data-driven solutions
• Integrate data and ML solutions into existing software and system landscapes via APIs and services
• Collaborate in data governance, data lifecycle management, and auditing
• Manage security, access, and authorization concepts for data, platforms, and data science environments

What you bring

• Completed training in Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field; or career changers with comparable practical experience
• Several years of experience in building and implementing complex data-driven solutions
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, object stores, and vector databases
• Very good knowledge in Data Engineering, especially in data modeling, data pipelines, storage technologies, and streaming
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based environments and enterprise storage, especially NetApp
• Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented work style
• Fluent in German; good knowledge of English (Level B2) is advantageous
• Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is advantageous
