But here’s the reality: we don’t need more dashboards. We need data foundations that turn information into intelligence. That’s where you come in.

As Senior AI Data Product Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of our AI platform. Your role isn’t to report on the product - it’s to shape what the product is capable of. You’ll co-own what we know about manufacturers, how that knowledge is structured, and how our agents reason over it to create real outcomes.

You'll work hands-on with complex data, close to the product, collaborating directly with our CTO and AI Product Director.

This is not a support or reporting function. This is a builder role, at the intersection of data, AI, and product.

Responsibilities

• You'll design the language of manufacturing intelligence:
  • You define and extend the manufacturing ontology that powers Gieni’s AI agents: companies, facilities, machines, processes, materials, certifications, capacities - and the relationships that make them meaningful.
  • You break workflows into “data atoms”: What does an agent actually need to shortlist prospects (spindle RPM, tonnage, certifications)? What signals displace incumbent suppliers (OEM brand, machine age, utilisation)?
  • You build and evolve the knowledge graph (Neo4j) that grounds our agents in structured, queryable manufacturing intelligence.
  • You drive vertical expansion: you take what works for CNC machining and figure out what’s different for injection moulding, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing.
  • You hunt down missing data and solve for it - via third-party sources, API integrations, crawling extensions, or ML-based inference when direct data doesn’t exist.
  • You define what success means for agent workflows and track it with telemetry (LangSmith, PostHog) - so you know what’s working and what isn’t.

Your output isn’t a report. It’s capability.

What eases your start

• You’re not just data-literate - you’re AI-native:
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or similar roles in B2B SaaS or AI-driven environments.
  • Claude Code, Cursor, and agentic workflows are how you work - not experiments you’ve tried once. This is your daily toolkit.
  • You understand how AI agents work: tools, reasoning loops, grounding, context windows - and you design for them.
  • You’re strong in SQL and Python and you build things yourself. You don't just analyse - you ship.
  • Knowledge graphs, ontology design, semantic data models - you're comfortable here.
  • You’ve worked with the Azure stack (Fabric, Synapse, OneLake, Azure ML, AI Search).
  • You have judgement: you decide what data matters now vs. later, when "good enough" beats perfect, and how to turn incomplete signals into usable intelligence.

You'll stand out if you bring:

• Manufacturing domain experience
• embeddings / vector operations
• data procurement experience

Requirements

• You're a Swiss, EU, or EFTA citizen, or hold a valid Swiss work permit, and you can work on-site in Zurich (full-time remote isn't possible).
