Job Description

As Head of the Regional Governance Unit for Information Security and Data Protection Switzerland, you are part of our global governance network of experts in information security and data protection. You have a comprehensive overview of the general and specific data protection requirements of our organization, particularly concerning the new Swiss Data Protection Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the Bosch Group in Switzerland.
• Updating and maintaining regional policies for information security and data protection, tracking business changes and legislative updates, especially concerning the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO).
• Standardizing and defining daily governance processes, creating central management templates, and providing professional data protection guidelines to the relevant teams.
• Organizing and conducting internal information security and data protection audits, following up on corrective actions, and ensuring the complete implementation and closure of risks.
• Responsible for implementing target group-oriented awareness and training concepts within the Bosch Group with a focus on Swiss data protection requirements.
• Actively shaping the future of our work processes by defining, documenting, and successfully implementing workflows, ensuring integration of privacy-friendly defaults per the DPA.
• Creating and maintaining all relevant data protection documentation is also part of your responsibility.
• Collaborating with the global DPO team of the Bosch Group to ensure compliance with local legislation internationally during cooperation.
