Job Description

Support financial market supervision through the structured preparation, analysis, and visualization of data. Take responsibility for the entire data pipeline and ensure high-quality, traceable analyses and reporting for internal stakeholders.

Main Tasks

• Responsibility for the entire data pipeline from data collection through data quality controls (DQM) to analysis and reporting.
• Assume the role of Data Steward for defined data areas, ensuring data quality, consistency, documentation, and technical definitions.
• Planning, execution, and maintenance of analyses and development of reports and dashboards.
• Structuring and prioritizing analysis requirements in close collaboration with internal departments.
• Contributing to projects and supporting internal stakeholders.

Profile

• Master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) as a Data Analyst or in a comparable data-driven role.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and good knowledge of programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience in data quality management, data validation, and reproducible analyses.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style as well as enjoyment in teamwork and interaction with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in banking, insurance, or other financial institutions is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken expression in German or Swiss German (C2) as well as good knowledge of the respective other language and English (B2).
